A trip to Yankee Stadium isn’t complete without grabbing something to eat between innings. While hot dogs and fries are still part of the experience, the stadium’s food lineup now stretches well beyond traditional ballpark fare. Burgers, steak sandwiches, barbecue, sushi, empanadas and plenty of desserts are scattered across the concourses. If you’re heading to a Yankees game, here are some of the best places and dishes to look out for.
- 99 Burger: One of Yankee Stadium’s signature foods, the 99 Burger is named after Yankees star Aaron Judge. It features two four-ounce American Wagyu beef patties topped with American cheese, caramelized onions and secret sauce on a brioche bun, with dill pickles on the side. Lettuce and tomato are also available on request. If you’re looking for something distinctly associated with a visit to Yankee Stadium, this is an obvious place to start.

- Lobel’s: For something a little different from the standard ballpark burger, head to Lobel’s. Its USDA Prime Steak Sandwich has become one of Yankee Stadium’s better-known food options, combining sliced prime steak with a straightforward sandwich that’s easy to eat from your seat. The menu also includes pastrami, burgers and other steak-based dishes, with some options varying between locations.

- Mighty Quinn’s: Barbecue fans have a solid option at Mighty Quinn’s. The Yankee Stadium location serves dishes including a chopped brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, crispy BBQ chicken sandwich and spicy chicken wings. There’s also a rice bowl if you’d rather skip the sandwich. It is a good choice when you’re after something more substantial than a hot dog without venturing too far from familiar game-day food.

- Benihana: Sushi probably isn’t the first food that comes to mind when you picture a baseball stadium, but Benihana gives fans a lighter alternative to burgers and barbecue. Choices include spicy tuna and spicy salmon sushi burritos, hibachi bowls, yakisoba bowls, poke bowls and maki rolls. The variety makes it particularly useful if your group isn’t interested in traditional ballpark food.

- Bobby’s Burgers: Bobby’s Burgers offers several takes on the classic cheeseburger, including the Crunchburger, Bacon Crunchburger and Bobby’s Blue + Bacon Burger. There’s also a veggie burger, sweet potato fries and milkshakes. It is worth considering if you’re looking for a full burger-and-fries meal rather than picking up individual snacks throughout the game.

- Nuchas Empanadas: For something portable enough to eat while walking around the stadium, Nuchas is an easy option. The 2026 menu includes chipotle chicken, pinto bean and Italian sausage empanadas. Their size also makes them handy if you want a snack rather than committing to one of the stadium’s much larger burgers or sandwiches.
Where to find it: Sections 107 and 232
- Mac Truck: Mac and cheese gets the full ballpark treatment at Mac Truck. You can keep things relatively simple with classic mac and cheese or go bigger with spicy chicken and ranch or pulled pork versions. It’s hearty, filling and particularly appealing for a cooler early-season or postseason game.
Where to find it: Sections 223 and 331
- Nathan’s Famous: Sometimes you just want the classic baseball experience. Nathan’s Famous serves its original beef frankfurter alongside extra-long hot dogs, crinkle-cut fries, chicken tenders and combination meals. It’s one of the easiest options to find around Yankee Stadium, so you shouldn’t have to trek across multiple levels just to get a hot dog.

Kosher Food
Yankee Stadium also has several dedicated kosher food locations. Their options include pulled brisket and hot pastrami sandwiches, kosher sausages, stadium hot dogs, potato knishes and soft pretzels. There are stands on several levels of the stadium so the kosher options aren’t limited to one small area.

Save Room for Dessert
There are plenty of choices if you want something sweet later in the game. Mister Softee is available throughout the stadium, including its popular ice cream served in a souvenir helmet. Magnolia Bakery brownies and blondies are sold at numerous sections, while other stadium treats include colossal cookies and apple pie nachos.
If you’re planning to explore the stadium before settling into your seat, dessert is an easy one to save for the later innings.
Ordering From Your Seat
Yankee Stadium supports mobile ordering through Uber Eats at the majority of permanent concession stands on the Field, Main and Terrace Levels. You can place an order from your seat and then collect it when it’s ready, potentially cutting down the amount of game time you spend waiting in line.
There are no additional fees for using the service inside the stadium, and the Yankees state that menu prices are the same as ordering directly at the concession stand.
Things to Know Before You Order
Yankee Stadium concession stands are cashless, so bring a credit or debit card or have a mobile payment option ready.
It’s also worth checking where each food stand is located before the game. Yankee Stadium is large, and walking several sections or changing levels for one particular sandwich can take longer than expected. If there’s one food item you specifically want to try, plan to pick it up when you’re already nearby rather than waiting until the middle of an inning.
